This is from the Greek island of Kos, somewhere from an endless beaches between Lampi (a part of the Kos town) and Tigaki, on the northern coast. On the horizon there can be seen a smaller island Pserimos.
My wife, passionately loving sea and sunsets, was so excited that she returned to her childhood (when she could only dream about being at the seaside). She started to play a game called in Slovak "little frogs" - throwing thiny flat smooth stones horizontally to the water surface and counting their jumps. She didn’t listen to my arguments that this was not a calm water of a Slovak lake or river, that it was impossible to play frogs on these swift waves in the permanent Kos Island’s strong wind... She argued that she succeeded to make two or three jumps (for me invisible) and only after some time she stood up with a beautiful childish half-guilty and half-happy smile...
We’ve had a really good time on Kos this summer |
