I have been to Mastichari for the last 8 years, last summer we visited the LIDO waterpark and had an excellent day. It wasn't too busy and the queues for each slide were not long at all. The park was very clean, and there were lots of sunbeds to relax on and sunbathe. The lazy river was very relaxing too! There was a top class restaurant serving wonderful greek food, and there were many lifeguards dotted around the park keeping an eye on things! well worth a visit, I'll definately be going back this year!

My family and I visited the Waterpark last year, not long after it had officially opened. What can I say - an absolutely fabulous day! My husband, never mind the kids, didn't know where to go first! The range of activities encompassed all ages and ranges of bravery (and stupidity)! There were plenty of life guards (Australian hunks!) and other staff, who were all very polite and helpful. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, as well as sunbeds for when it all gets too much. There is also a small gift shop for those who can't quite go without shopping for a day. All in all, a fantastic, great-value-for-money day out.

We returned from KOS early September 2006. We had a fantastic time and we are the type of family to venture out whilst we are on holiday so a trip to LIDO waterpark could not be missed. It was a lovely waterpark with nice clean facilities and a few restauraunts to eat at. My daughter Amber (Aged 6) was looking forward to the waterpark very much. Upon arrival we discovered that it wasn't really suitable for children who could not swim as they could only go on a few rides such as the lazy river (accompanied by a adult) and she also played in the wave machine pool (which was good but again accompanied by a adult. The very large slides were certainly a no no. We did make her go onto a slide with her armbands which was slow when coming down but the force of the water made her go under so that scared the living daylights out of her and she didn't want to go onto anything else after that, however, on the whole it is a fantastic experence for adults and we tried most of the activities which were all fantastic and if we were to go back to KOS (which we would love to) we would go again if my children were swimming! Entry price is average, it cost us around £55 for 2 adults and 1 child and my 2 year old got in free. The area is well supervised with life guards and it is a very picturesque. There are plenty of sunbeds for all so you can definitely make a day of it but all in all it is not loaded with waterslides but there is enough! There is a small section for children but the water is very vigerous and scares the living daylights out of them. The waterpark is certainly something that cannot be missed if you are staying in KOS and you are swimmers or adults!

We visited Lido water park in june 2006, the park hadnt long been opened & it was all nice & clean. it was nice & safe for the children as when doing something remotely unsafe, the pool attendants blew their whistle at you to stop, which is great for your childs safety, but not so great when you are in your thirties! Even though the park wasnt on a very large scale, what it did have was very good. Lots of slides to go down on inflatables, a big wave pool, a jaccuzzi that was just great for our party of eight. it also had lots of refreshment areas, and the toilet facilities were nice & clean. the only problem really was the the floor upto the slides got very hot as the day went on and as you are not allowed clothing or shoes on the slides it did burn your feet walking upto them, although we did see someone wearing those neoprene swim shoes so if you are planning on going it may be well worth your investing in these. over all at 17euro per adult, if you go anywhere in Kos, it would definitaley be worth a visit.

I was in the waterpark for one day and it was amazing. It has multiple bodyslides and slides with tires.
It is situated 2km from the main road at about 20km from Kos town. If you drive from Kos to Tigaki, Marmari and Mastichari it is doable by bike to get there. There are also busses traveling in that direction.
If you are in Kos you should certainly visit this waterpark.
The entrance fee for an adult was 17 euro when we went in June 2006.

There are no information about the waterpark. When will it open and how to go there from Kos town?
