This was one of the most stunning monuments I have ever seen. The walls are so interesting - with the mixture of stones from different eras, and the old prison at the far end of the inner presinct. Well worth the cheap 3.00 ticket, and the man in the recption office was really polite and helpful. I'm going back again next year for sure!

Well it realy worths the 3 euro ticket. The castle is dominating in the port and it is a monument from the Venetian period built by the Knights of the order St. John. It is in good condition and offers a great view as far as Bodrum, the whole Kos city and the ancient houses.
