Casa Romana is a mansion from the Roman years, beautifully decorated with frescoes, carved representations and beautiful mosaics. This renovated villa from roman era is situated in the western part of city Kos near Odeon. You can find water cistern and mosaic floor with a depiction of a panther tearing apart a dear. There is also marble paved-floor in other room. In fact there are many mosaics and paintings all over Casa Romana.
All the mosaics found in Casa Romana date from 3rd c. AD. A nuber of statues dating from the late Hellenistic period were also found in the building are displayed in the Kos Museum.
